Jets Trade is Shot Down

The New York Jets were strongly considering a trade with the Washington Redskins. The trade was going to be player for player. The Jets were going to give up Santana Moss to acquire Laveranues Coles. I think that this would have been a good trade for the Jets because Coles used to be on their team and contributed greatly. The deal fell through because Coles demanded a better contract which the Jets were not willing to provide. I think that Coles will eventually bet traded but not to a New York Team. • Coles is the fastest reciever in the game. Moss for Coles is pretty unfair. Maybe the Jets could trade Pennington for Coles and let my boy A.J. start at QB. Just kidding. Later

  • I've said before I like football. I definately like watching football more than any other sport, but naturally you guys are way more knowledgable about all these players and such...but I'm learning more! So thanks ha. Maybe I'll start discussing some of this stuff with my guy friends from NY (who I usually just argue with). Then I can get some more insightful comments going for you! =)

  • I personally like coles, and was worth the concessions needed to make him a Jet. He has history here, and too bad the deal fell though. Perhaps next time

  • I agree that Coles is one of the fastest recievers in the league.
